Apple cider vinegar. There are many everyday problems that can be alleviated with the help of apple cider vinegar, and they range from acne, dandruff to indigestion. It's also something that you may count on if your feet smell horrid. All you need to do is combine half a cup of apple cider vinegar and warm water in a small basin. Soak your feet in the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes or until it is no longer warm.

Black tea. More often than not, excessive sweating is the one to blame. A very effective way to minimize sweating is by allowing a pair of black tea bags to steep in one liter of hot water. Let the resulting brew cool for a few minutes. Once already warm, soak those feet in it for a while. Black tea is very good at putting excessive sweating under control as it can shrink those skin pores of yours.

Coconut oil. There are cases in which having terrible smelling feet stems from a nasty fungal infection. It's not unlikely for you to have such problem if you're suffering from athlete's foot. A home remedy for it that you may give a try is the application of coconut oil. Make sure that you allow the oily liquid to stay in place for some time in order to let it do its job thoroughly. After several minutes, use tissue or kitchen paper to blot off excess coconut oil.

Garlic. If athlete's foot is the primary suspect, then you may rely on garlic for much needed relief. This popular herb is capable of dealing with the stinky issue as it has phenomenal anti fungal abilities. Get a fresh clove, peel it, and then slice in half. Rub the fleshy part on your skin afterwards. Wait for a couple of minutes before rinsing it off very well. Other than garlic, onion is also great for the job.

Baking soda. Everyone knows that baking soda is a fantastic all around deodorizer. It's exactly for this reason why it is also an excellent solution for having a terrible smelling feet. After taking a shower or bath, dust some baking soda on your towel dried feet.

Go for the right socks. Make sure that your socks do not contribute to the problem. Socks that are out of cotton can help keep stinky feet at bay as they permit air to flow through them. See to it that the pair of cotton socks you are about to wear is clean.

Wear dry shoes. Having a couple of pair of shoes for exercising is a great idea, experts say. This is true most especially if you're a fitness buff who goes to the gym daily. Alternating your shoes helps ensure that each pair has plenty of time to dry.
