Your concentration will surely be heightened during the trainings. And those lessons you gain will absolutely be used in real life. Furthermore, trusting your instinct and intuition about the place is also beneficial for your safety.

Nevertheless, prevention is still the most effective way to avoid being assaulted. Never go to a place wherein it seems like no one was going there. If ever you are eventually being cornered, the martial arts you learned will surely be helpful.
