Medical Benefits Of Male Circumcision In London

By Ryan Williams

Circumcising males is a common ritual in many places. Apart from being carried out as a ritual in different religions and communities, many people realize the many benefits associated with the practice. Circumcision in London is a common practice recommended for both boys and men. However, this is one of the most debated issues in different societies today.

This has become a controversial issue in most communities. Many people may not realize the health benefits related to circumcising of male children. This leaves the procedure in a position where it is neither recommended nor renounced. There are numerous benefits that come with carrying out the procedure. This article has focused on the health benefits of circumcision.

Infections related to the urinary tract are rare in males when compared to females. However, these infections are common among males who are not circumcised. When a person has not undergone this procedure, their foreskin traps moisture and other types of dirt. Warmth and moisture provide an ideal environment for the growth of bacteria. This perfect place increases the chances of being infected by different bacteria thus explaining the reason why most uncircumcised males are at a higher risk of getting Urinary Tract Infections.

HIV prevention comes in different ways. Circumcision is a method that medical doctors have recommended on prevention of HIV. The warm conditions under the foreskin are ideal for sustaining viruses like HIV among others. According to medical researchers, the likelihood of contracting HIV and other diseases transmitted through sexual contact is minimal for circumcised males than it is for the uncircumcised ones. However, protected sex is still recommended.

Circumcising males prevents Phimosis. Phimosis is the inability of the foreskin to draw back to its normal state. This can cause pain due to the soreness of the head of the penis or the skin especially if the penis is rigid. This problem is common in males at a certain age and can be mitigated by taking this surgical procedure.

Removal of the foreskin reduces the risk of developing penile cancer. Although penile cancer is not a typical case, it is higher among uncircumcised males. There is close relationship between circumcision and this type of cancer. Penile cancer is observed to be lower among males whose foreskin has been removed. In addition, circumcising males has been observed to reduce the risk of cervical cancer in their female partners.

It is hygienic. Though it is not hard to wash the part beneath the foreskin, the absence of the foreskin makes the practice easier. Proper hygiene is essential for every human being to practice. Apart from preventing infections, it is imperative for an individual to keep every part of their body clean. The foreskin can store a lot of dirt that might cause health complications. Cutting it off is a remedy for most health problems.

These are some of the important benefits of carrying out this procedure. In the recent times, lower risks of infections and improved hygiene have led to the spread of circumcision in males. The act does not affect fertility and does not reduce sexual pleasure in both male and female. Every male human being should consider going through the procedure to gain these health benefits.
